If I had a dollar for every time I imported something into Unreal and it didn't work with the lighting, I'd be a billionaire. The issue is not CC4 or UE, it's that the work on your character in Unreal is not finished yet.

Yes, I tried that but I still get this strange hickup after every loop. Do you have any ideas of what is causing this? The original root animation doesn´t have this nervous tick every time the loop restarts, but in the retargeted animation something is causing this jidder. I´m just trying the new stride warping methods to prevent foot sliding and it nearly works, only this nasty twitching / jerking in my root animation is driving me nuts. Thanks! That really helped to figure out how the new workflow works. In the new retargeter you can change the pose and have a reference character, but how can I change it now? the arms are spread too far out (John Wayne) and the fingers are somehow twisted. It works, but the amimations don´t match perfectly, i.e. But is there a way of changing the pose of the CC3 character in UE5 ? In my case I just imported a CC3 character and shared the manny animations. workaholic ! 😁īy Bassline303 - 6 Months Absolutely right ! I would love to use it in music productions.
